Platinum rhodium wire is a binary alloy with platinum base and rhodium, which is a continuous solid solution at high temperature. Rhodium can improve the thermoelectric potential, oxidation resistance and acid resistance of the alloy to platinum. There are PtRh6, PtRh10, Rh13, PtRh30 and PtRh40 alloys. Alloys greater than 20%Rh are insoluble in aqua regia. Mainly used as thermocouple materials, PtRh10/Pt, PtRh13/Pt, etc., used as thermocouple wire in the thermocouple, to directly measure or control the temperature of fluid, steam and gas medium and solid surface in the range of 0-1800C in various p
roduction processes. The industries used are: steel, power generation, petroleum, chemical industry, glass fiber, food, glass, pharmaceutical, ceramics, non-ferrous metals, heat treatment, aerospace, powder metallurgy, carbon, coking, printing and dyeing and other almost all industrial fields.

Platinum-rhodium 10-platinum thermocouple wire
The coupling wire is suitable for temperature measurement in oxidizing atmosphere, not suitable for use
in reducing atmosphere, and can be used for vacuum temperature measurement in a short time.
The maximum long-term use temperature of the coupling wire is 1400°C, and the maximum short-term
use temperature is 1600°C. Dual wire diameter 0.5mm, thermoelectric motive force - temperature characteristics in line with IEC standard (S-type) index table; The coupling wire conforms to the
thermoelectric motive force relationship specified in gold, silver and antimony in the 1975 revision of
(1PTS-69); It has good high temperature stability and can be used to make industrial thermocouples and
standard thermocouples, and can also make working reference couples.
The couple wire is divided into standard and industrial grade I and III, and its allowable tolerance is: standard
grade, 1084.88° (copper point) thermoelectric motive force meets the requirements of 10.575±0.030mV.
Grade | Operating Temperature °C | Allowable Tolerance |
